Since its inception in 2023, the Australia–Africa Dialogue Forum has provided a trusted space for diplomatic, business, and diaspora leaders to engage on shared priorities.
Each year, the Forum builds on the principles of Diplomacy, Diaspora, and Development, convening influential voices to shape pathways for stronger relations between Australia and Africa.

The 2025 Forum will mark the third edition of the Dialogue. Hosted in October, it will highlight opportunities for enterprise-driven growth and sustainable development across Australia and Africa.
Key areas of focus include:
- Strengthening trade and investment flows
- Supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
- Leveraging diaspora expertise and networks
- Advancing innovation, skills, and inclusive growth
Past Forums
2023 Forum
The inaugural Australia–Africa Dialogue Forum established the platform as a trusted space for diplomatic and economic exchange. The first gathering set the tone for dialogue grounded in cooperation and outcomes.
2024 Forum
Building on its inaugural success, the second Forum gathered senior officials, business leaders, and diaspora representatives to discuss trade, infrastructure, and partnership opportunities.
